Explosion destroyed boiler on gas processing ship

Offshore gas processing/regasification ship MARSHAL VASILEVSKIY suffered regasification boiler explosion, one of six such boilers, produced by Mitsubishi, was destroyed, during trials – said Gazprom deputy director during press-conference held on May 14 in Moscow.

The delivery date will be postponed, added deputy director. MARSHAL VASILEVSKIY order cost is $295 mil., the ship is to be exploited in Kaliningrad region, Russia, Baltic sea.

Reportedly, there were other damages besides destroyed boiler.
