Engine Failure For Ferry

On April 23 Afternoon, Ferry VOLCAN DE TIJARAFE broke down while en route from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Is is suspected that the ship had an engine failure while it was being halfway between two islands.

Crew managed to restart one engine in some two hours, ferry resumed sailing at a reduced speed, and safely reached port of destination.
